The First Presbyterian Church of Wascott was dedicated March 1, 1914. About 45 years later, it took on a new life as Wascott Community Church. The building was shuttered in the early 2000s when the congregation moved. In 2005, the church and its remaining treasury of about $1,000 was given to the town of Wascott for use as a museum.
