The Hoffman School is a one-room country schoolhouse has been lovingly renovated and furnished with period antiques.  The school now boasts a pot-bellied stove, old wooden school desks complete with inkwells, a chalkboard and an American flag on the wall. Every morning, the children saluted the flag and recited “The Pledge of Allegiance.” The Hoffman School was one of 10 rural schools scattered throughout the town near clusters of families with school-age children.
