Our mission is to preserve the rich history of Gordon, Wascott and surrounding areas throughout the beautiful Northwoods of Wisconsin. We serve as an educational resource dedicated to advancing and disseminating historical knowledge of this area. An integral part of our mission is the development, maintenance, upkeep and enhancement of our historical collections.
We offer summertime tours of the historic Whalen House Museum, built in 1907 on the Main Street of Gordon, Wisconsin. Across the road lies a Soo Line Railroad Depot constructed in 1911. And down the road a bit at the Wascott Historical Park, you can tour a country schoolhouse built in 1896 and the 1913 Wascott Community Church.
